Instructions

Wash foxtail millet in water 2-3 times. Drain and keep aside.

Heat cold pressed groundnut oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Let them splutter.

Add green chillies, ginger, and curry leaves. Sauté for 30 seconds.

Add chopped onion, carrot, and green peas. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until onion turns translucent.

Add 2 cups water and salt. Bring to a boil. Add the washed millet. Stir well.

Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes until water is absorbed and millet is fluffy. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
